Recently 2 Taks Back was one of 5 bands out of over 100 bands picked to compete in a Battle of the Bands contest for Miller-Coors Amber Lager Launch Party. Indianapolis radio station X103 was there to host the event. Also Q95 radio station was there to support the event as well.
Don't forget to come watch 2 Taks Back perform on May 25th at Melody Inn in Indianapolis.

The band wants you to come check them out on Saturday, May 25th, 2013. The band will be playing at the historic Melody Inn in Indianapols, Indiana. They are excited about playing on Indianapolis 500 race weekend, so if you are coming in town for the race, make sure you check the band out the night before!

2 Taks back is now recording for their 2nd CD. "Gonna Lose Your Crown" should be ready for the CD shortly.

The band is back practicing again after a long lay off from the holidays! Also, the band is excited in welcoming 2 new band members:
1. Paul Myhre, bass guitar
2. Orion Bell, Keyboard
Additionally, Mike Chandler, one of the original members, is also back with the band.
The band is excited about their next CD and has already started to record.

On July 6, 2012, 2 Taks Back was invited to play at a birthday party for James Kennedy, son of Tess Dunlap. Tess is the wife of drummer Chris Dunlap. Delayed Flight, another band out of Indianapolis also played at the party.
While the outside temperatures were blazing at playing time (95 degree), this didn't stop the bands from playing many of their original songs. Check out the pictures on the PHOTOS page.
Two Taks Back is close to releasing their first CD, recording all accomplished by the band. The CD will be released on CD BABY.com and the band will keep you updated. Stay tuned!!!

It's been a while since an update, so the band wanted you to know what was happening! 2 Taks Back currently is recording their last two songs for the CD. When finished, a CD will more than likely be put on CDBABY.COM for sale.
In the future, the band is hoping their website will have the capability to allow for comments from their fans. 2 Taks Back does have a facebook page, but currently there is not much information, so check back here once in while to keep your eye on any progress and updates.
We'll keep you posted on the near future CD that will be coming soon!

The band is still recording! They plan to record this weekend, working on "Take Your Time," and "A Little Thing." The band hopes to sell their first CD by summers end, or earlier. We'll keep you posted! Keep rocking!

"Losing You Again" was finished over the weekend and has been posted on the Music page. Take a listen. A lot of people are excited about this song. The song "Don't You Touch My Girl" should be coming out very soon.

The band expects two more songs to be out by the end of February. Recording as already started on "Don't you touch my girl," and "Losing you again."

Because of the holidays, the band was a little behind schedule...however "I'll be the One" and "Dark Side" have been recorded. "Don't You Touch My Girl" will be recorded in February.

The band is continuing to record. On October 15, they met to start work on "I'll be the One" and "The Dark Side." They hope to have these completed by November 5th.
